Soccer

One day Amy, the soccer player, was getting ready to go to practice and she noticed something different with her shoes, they were clean and they were usually dirty. So she asked her parents if they washed her shoes, they said no. Next she was going to ask her grandma, first she checked the clock and the clock said 5:00, and if she didn’t leave now she would be late for practice so she left. At practice everyone thought she had new shoes but she just said I think my grandma washed them. So, usually Amy sits on the bench during the game because the coach said she fooled around during practice. So he told her if she didn’t fool around she could play in the game. So she did everything the coach told her to do. And she even did everything she couldn’t do and she did that perfect. The stuff she could do, she did it better. The coach saw the improvement and moved her from defender to forward.
The day of the game she did the warm ups even better than the best player on the team. The best players name was Angela. She was so good at soccer, but now Amy was better than her. At this game Amy was trying to score a goal this time. So she rushed down the field with the ball, weaved her way through the other team, and once she got to the goal box she kicked the ball as hard as she could in the corner of the net and scored!!! Everyone was cheering and clapping while Amy just stood there. Then all of the team ran to where Amy was standing and hugged her. Everyone was so happy because she won the game for the team.
After the game they celebrated by getting pizza for the whole team. But the next game would be their hardest yet. They were playing the hardest team for the championship game. Amy was nervous because she would have to score at least 4 goals to beat them and the other team would have to score 1 or 0 goals. The whole team was counting on Amy to score those goals. At the game no one on the other team scored during the first half. Angela scored for her team and she also got hurt, but Amy thought she was faking it. During the next half Amy scored 3 goals and the other team 0. They won 4-0 everyone was cheering. The whole team got to go to Disneyland together. Everyone was happy; especially Amy because when she got older her dream was to be a professional soccer player. She blames it all on the shoes, so she never washed or got new shoes ever again.
